Deductible
A deductible of $100 must be paid for each covered component at the time of service.
Schedule of Coverage
The following components are covered for the repair replacement under this agreement:
Engine: Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head(s), and all internally lubricated parts contained within the engine including: Piston, Piston Rings, Connecting Rods, Crankshaft, Crankshaft Main Bearings, Camshaft, Camshaft Main Bearings, Cam Followers, Timing Chain or Belt, Timing Gears, Guides, Tensioners, Rocker Arms, Rocker Shaft, Rocker Bushings, Cylinder Head Valves, Valve Guides, Valve Lifters, Valve Springs, Valve Seals, Valve Retainers, Valve Seats, Push Rods, Oil Pump and Oil Pump Housing, Harmonic Balancer, Flywheel, Engine Mounts.
Transmission: Transmission Care and all internal parts plus: Torque Converter, Flywheel/Flexplate, Vacuum Modulator, Electronic Shift Control Unit, Transmission Cooler, Transmission Mounts, Oil Pan, Clutch Plate, Throwout Bering, Pressure Plate.
Drive Axle: Front and Rear Drive Axle Case, All internal parts contain within the Drive Axle, Drive Shaft, Universal Joints, and Constant Velocity Joints, Front Wheel Drive Axles, Four Wheel Drive Systems and Transfer Case.
Electrical: Only the following electrical components are covered: Alternator, Starter Motor, Starter Solenoid and Starter Drive, engine Control module, Body Control Module.
Fuel Delivery: Fuel Pump, Fuel Injectors, Metal Fuel Delivery Lines, Fuel tank
Engine Cooling System: Radiator, Engine Cooling Fan and Motor, Fan Clutch, Water Pump, Heater Core, Thermostat and Thermostat Housing.
Steering: Power Steering Pump, Rack & Pinion
Air Conditioning: A/C Compressor Only
Mechanical Breakdown
In the event of a breakdown of a part listed above, we will pay for the reasonable cost to repair or replace the part, less the deductible. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, or parts of like, kind and quality such as serviceable used parts. Labor will be paid as part of the warranty.
If your vehicle incurs a breakdown, you must take the following steps to file a claim:
- Prevent Further Damage: This agreement will not cover the damage caused by continued operation or by not securing a timely repair of the failed component.
- Take Your Vehicle to an Authorized Repair Facility: To obtain a list of authorized repair facilities, contact LR Auto Sales.
- Obtain Authorization from the Administrator: Prior to any repair being made, instructs the service manager at the repair facility to contact LR Auto Sales to obtain an authorization for the claim. Any claim for repairs without Prior authorization will NOT be covered under this agreement.
- Pay any Applicable Deductible: Deductible is payable to LR Auto Sales, Inc upon completion of warranty work.
- For any expenses related to towing or transportation to the repair facility. LR Auto Sales WILL pay for towing up to $50, if it is a warranty repair.
What is NOT Covered
This agreement does not provide coverage:
- For any rental or transportation expenses incurred while your car is being repaired. LR Auto Sales DOES NOT provide loaner vehicles.
- For Maintenance services and parts which include, but are not limited to: Alignments, Wheel Balancing, Tune-ups, Spark Plugs, Spark plug wires, Hoses, Drive Belts, Brake Pads, Brake Linings or Shoes, and Wiper Blades. Filters, Lubricants, Coolants, and Fluids will be covered only if replacement is required in connection with a breakdown.
- For any of the following parts: Seals and Gaskets, Battery, Shocks and Struts, Manual and Hydraulic Linkages, Distributor Cap and Rotor, Supplemental Restraint System(including airbags), Brake Drums or Rotors, Antilock Brake System(ABS), Traction Control System, Exhaust and Emission Systems, Audio System Components including the Radio, CD Players, Speakers, and Amplifiers, Power or Manuel windows and Door Locks, Door Handles, Windshield Wiper Motors, Glass, Lenses, Sealed Beams, light Bulbs, Weather Stripping, trim Modeling, Bright Metal, Chrome, Upholstery and Carpet, Paint, Outside Ornamentation, Bumpers, Body Sheet Metal and Panels, Tires, Wheels or Rims, Nuts, Bolts, and Fasteners.
- For any breakdown caused by failing to maintain proper levels of lubricants and/or coolants, or failure to protect your vehicle from further damage when a breakdown has occurred.
- If any modifications or alterations have been made to your vehicle or you are using or have used your vehicle in a manner not recommended by the manufacture, including but not limited to, the failure of any custom or add-on part, all frame or suspension modifications, lift kits, oversized/undersized tires, trailer hitches, emissions and/or exhaust system modifications, or engine modifications.
